Fellowship, we were blessed by the word preached by our Apostle/Pastor, Bishop-Designate Dr. Barbara E. Austin Lucas. At our Harambee Worship Service at 8 AM, our Bishop-Designate fed us a rhema word from on high! With the sermonic title, "Get Out of God's Way," she implored us to get it DONE! As she led us in the examination of the sermonic text, Acts 11:1-18, GOD'S FIRE TO DO (accomplish God's Will) burned within and among us. In the text, the Apostle Peter was changed, transformed. In his example of sharing the Good News of Jesus, while coming before the people to teach Jesus he exhorted the people to not forget their old ways and behaviors they had not truly surrendered to God. What brought this apostle, builder of God's kingdom, down to the brink of depression and hopelessness was that in Jerusalem (the place he was called and sent) many believers -- the same ones he shephered as Jesus asked of him as a demonstration of his love for Jesus -- sought to tear him and the building of God's kingdom down. As disciples of Jesus, we are not supposed to tear people down whom are a part of God's Fellowship much less anyone else! As builders of God's kingdom, we are not to criticize others like the people of Jerusalem did to Peter! Each believer, upon receiving the gift of salvation is also extended the process of transformation. During this process, believers undergo the removal of the foreskin from their hearts. God is not caught up in picking and choosing; therefore, GET OUT OF GOD'S WAY! Peter, the one entrusted with feeding, making and maturing believers, needed to hear that wherever he went he was covered by God! The building of God's kingdom is not about us -- our personal agendas and motives! When God has given us a purpose, people will see that the word we are sharing is coming from God. The Apostle Peter's testimony is this: when he spoke, the Holy Spirit came upon him and the others who were obedient to God! If you desire to be an integral partaker of God's promise and an effective builder of God's kingdom, believe that in the midst of being torn down among believers and nonbelievers, your story is not over! Yes, GET OUT OF GOD'S WAY! However, Bishop-Designate heeded us: If you don't get out of God's Way, you will get burned!!! If we fail to catch the Fire of God intended to be a shield of protection from those who seek to destroy the building of God's Will, Work and Plan, we will be unable to partake of the awesome move of God. Not partaking of God's Fire means we will not transform, we will remain the same. But to those who catch the Fire of God are promised to see their deliverance from every thought, word or deed that seeks to destroy, kill and steal the divine purpose given their hands to do. The Apostle Peter, after catching the Fire of God, was able to have the assistance he needed to lead the work of God void of hindrance. As he moved throughout Jerusalem and the outer most parts of the earth, he gained a territorial anointing to share the Good News of JESUS. Fellowship, this morning, we got out of God's Way! Fellowship, this morning, we caught the Fire of God! Fellowship, this morning, we refused to be burned! We praise God for our Apostle/Pastor and are ready to continue the building of our vision and mandate in this season. We so enjoyed sharing with you today, and by God's grace we will Fellowship with you next week at our 8 AM and/or 2 PM Worship Service. Agape in all your ways, for our story is NOT over! Spheres of influences have been released in our house! Give God all the glory! Share this word with others to encourage them: "Your story is NOT over! Despite what you're going through, catch God's Fire and GET OUT OF GOD'S WAY!!!"
Fellowship, we were blessed to hear the closing ONE Couples Ministry Biblical Couple Presentation and preached word from The Kellers -- Bro. Bernard J. & Evg. Angela Keller at who our 2 PM Worship Service. Those who attended were challenged and compelled, through the sermonic text of Judges 4-5 (NLT), to consider "LEADING WITH COURAGE, WISDOM & FAITH!" The testimony of the witnesses conveyed in the text asserted that God chooses to hear from the Courageous, the Wise and the Faithful. While defeating their enemies, Deborah (a judge) was used by God to confirm/relay instructions (a strategic plan) Barack (the leader) needed to defeat their enemies. Her ability to agree provided comfort and encouragement he so desperately needed in this particular circumstance. Moreso, Barack, knowing the importance of agreement, delayed his implementation of the instructions until he received such. In our marriages and ministries, we must support all of God's servants no matter who or how little the task. In doing such, competition is not a consideration for those who desire agreement within marriage and the body of Christ! The Keller's encouraged us to do the the following: 1) Encourage one another; 2) Consider God our #1 Encourager; 3) Be sure of our calling in preparation for the divine help to manifest; 4) Believe God will not let us fail; 5) Receive that agreement manifests victory for God's servants who follow divine instructions; and 6) Success in God [and marriage] must have God at the center. We are overjoyed that our victory is here! Fellowship, don't rob God of the glory! Share your testimony of victory! God has and continues to do it -- GIVE US VICTORY OVER EVERY ADVERSARY -- when we: 1) CRY OUT; 2) CONFESS; 3) REPENT FROM OUR WICKED WAYS; 4) OBEY GOD TO THE "T;" 5) BE WILLING TO PRAISE THE LORD WHEN GOD STEPS IN. On behalf of our Apostle/Pastor, Bishop-Designate Dr. Barbara E. Austin Lucas, we decree and declare that YOU WILL BE RESTORED TO BE REDEEMED IN 2015!
Our Minister in Residence, Rev. Dr. Yoreel Fraser-Trumpet, preached "I WILL RAISE THE PRAISE!" from the sermonic text, Psalm 34:1-8, during our 8 AM Worship Service on Sunday, July 12, 2015. Rev. Dr. Fraser-Trumpet reminded us that the Psalms are the songs (praises) of Israel. When waiting on the Lord, we are to be of good courage. While waiting, we ought to RAISE THE PRAISE void of attitudes! The Book of Psalms has a text for every situation. In Psalm 34, we find David's praise song to God for delivering him from death. Like David, praise is in us and must come out of our mouths. We must keep praise on our lips no matter what the situation looks like, for praise is a choice. Choosing to give God praise in advance is not choosing to gossip. God expects our PRAISE. Our spirits, feet...all of ourselves must choose to PRAISE. There are persecuted believers who desire to PRAISE FREELY. The more we PRAISE, the more we PRAISE. The strength and power of PRAISING GOD empower us to stop complaining. Isaiah reminds us that we were created to worship. Each of us must know that God will deliver us and is: 1) on our side; 2) our Great God when we're going through; 3) worthy of our "Big Up;" 4) our problem solver, Who ought to be magnified; 5) the One Who got us out of _________; 6) worthy of our trust; and 7) Uhmmmm good! WE WILL RAISE THE PRAISE! On behalf of our Apostle/Pastor, Bishop-Designate Dr. Barbara E. Austin Lucas, we thank you for sharing with us and decree you will be RESTORED TO BE REDEEMED in 2015!
Fellowship, aren't we so glad that God never takes vacations!?! Well, for those of us assembled "on purpose, for a purpose," we were blessed by the word preached by our Apostle/Pastor, Bishop-Designate Dr. Barbara E. Austin Lucas. With the sermonic subject, "GOD CAN DO IT AGAIN," we examined the words penned by the psalmist in Psalm 77. As only she can do, Bishop-Designate encouraged us to be determined not to repeat our past by knowing ourselves through knowing our history. To those who seek to learn from financially unfaithful spending patterns, learn the wisdom of LAYAWAY and PAY AS YOU GO. As a Fellowship, we began Rapid Debt Reduction teaching in 1999 with the assistance of Min. Carol A. Hunter of Prosperity Unlimited, Inc. With Min. Hunter's expertise, coupled with our Fellowship Financial Standard that teaches us to TITHE, PAY OUR BILLS, SEED, SAVE & INVEST, we witnessed the testimonies of those who owed no one nothing but to love! Changing up from "plastic up" to "cash up," afforded us the privilege of knowing the God of the Overflow! Yes, God demonstrated God's Ownself to be like water -- everywhere. God never requires us to give more than God can give to us. Today, we must be determined to correct our issues! If we relearn and revisit our lessons, we will have victory! Fellowship, GOD CAN DO IT AGAIN! Here is how we begin: 1) Stop trying to outrun God's Agenda, for God will ALWAYS WIN in the end; 2) Know that God brings something to your REMEMBRANCE for a purpose; 3) Morning by morning NEW MERCIES we see; 4) Embrace the NEW DAY God has provided; 5) God has made a promise and WILL NOT GO BACK on God's Own Word; 6) The SOLUTION is embedded IN YOUR HISTORY; 7) God is FAITHFUL in the midst of your unfaithfulness; 8) God OWNS IT ALL, so embrace your TEMPORARY CASH FLOW ADJUSTMENT knowing God can PROVIDE ANYTHING you are in need of; 9) Recall that THE LORD IS YOUR SHEPHERD, and you SHALL NOT LACK ANYTHING in obedience; 10) God HAS your back; and 11) God CAN DO it again! Now what? Get out of complain mode like the psalmist. Just stop it! Begin to RECALL (the numerous ways God provided before), REMEMBER (the ways you failed to obey God and godly instructions), and REVIEW (the lessons you learned and refused to learn to live in the Overflow of obedience daily). Let's give God praise for new days, new ways!!! In spite of it ALL, make today your NEW START!!! If God can do it again, we can too!!! Share this word with others to encourage them. Don't rob God by withholding your testimony. Tell them Bishop-Designate Dr. Barbara E. Austin Lucas said to tell them THIS: "You must obey what God speaks! God has your back! Despite what you're going through, know GOD CAN DO IT AGAIN!!!"
